Khūrākī with RealTime Arts

  • Hillman Center for Performing Arts 423 Fox Chapel Road Pittsburgh, PA, 15238 United States (map)

Khūrãkī is a collaborative theatre piece by RealTime Arts and women of Pittsburgh’s Afghan community for which I have been playing live music since 2019 (thanks to Monique Meade and Jennie Dorris) at venues all around Pittsburgh, most recently in the BorderLight Theatre Festival in Cleveland. This time I will be improvising the interludes with my collaborator Aaron Basskin on drum synthesizer!

3 shows with food by Zafaron Afghan Cuisine. Details here: https://realtimeinterventions.org/projects/khuraki/
